A few weeks back, someone put up a post about the most hard-to-watch episodes and I mentioned S3E9 as one for me, but I had forgotten that the context around the family party was Frank cashing in on faking homosexuality while Ian (and Mickey) suffer through the real trauma of gay bashing, sexual assault, and internalized homophobia.
